There are times when going off to camp for peace and quiet breathing the fresh air. Most times, a fun bunch of family or friends make good company. And there are times when you just need a more silent and very agreeable partner to take to get away from it all. The best companion a man could ever have would be the pet dog-they don't talk your ear off and will always be glad to agree. When I take my dog on long trips across country or camping, a dog carrier is a necessity I have invested on like the fabric carriers that attach to the front passengers seat (also installs at the back). These are more like cloth boxes then dog crates and they catch all fur and whatever my pet would shed, this helps keep my vehicle easier to clean. Of course when the trip is an over night thing, I also bring a Portable Pet carrier that is more of an enclosure than a restraint. A gor-tex like covered portable pet is all-weather and keeps my pet dog safe from poisonous creatures at night. I've read about a dog being eaten by a Burmese python, well the carrier is good for keeping your pet in the tent with you safe and sound. Pet carriers are a great part of pet rearing that need to be invested on, they are versatile and durable to last your pet dogs dog-life.

Vacationing with or without your pet is a time to relax and soak up under the sun or just appreciate the greenery on a camping trail. A trip becomes enjoyable when preparations have been made in advance with every human and canine detail considered.
Here are some tips for that guaranteed care-free time on the road…
Pets must be fed or given water 2 hours before the trip. By that time your pet has gone potty before the car hits on the road.
Exercise and walk your dog minutes before the trip. Have your pet spend its energy to make sure they keep still or fall asleep while on the road. An exhausted dog is a sleepy one on any trip.
On long cross-country trips, plan some stops along the way. Stops are better at gas stations , fast-food joints and at inns. Use this time to let pets stretch its legs or relieve itself or drink some water (if weather is too hot).
Traveling without air-conditioning, help your pets cool down by just keeping passenger windows a third open. Letting air circulate keeps dogs cooled but safe.
Never open window all the way, dogs sticking their heads out never risk falling off only in the movies. A dog hanging its head out when you're doing close to a hundred in a highway or stretch of road will cause inflammation of eyes, ears or in the throat.
Have a packet of sweets or some honey handy just in case your pet gets car sick. A case of car sickness in pets is possible specially when it is its first time to travel.
There's not much to having your pet along for a family vacation or being your side kick for the trip. Pets would enjoy the trip when it feels you enjoying. Planning and coordinating your trip ensures a wonderful vacation.

Fish lures are not one and the same, depending on the fish you target a lure will be effective if it attracts enough of the fishes attention, the lure is heavy and enough to handle the captive's weight and will it be enough to a feisty customer.
We'll start with Bass Lures, so far these are pretty much common game fish and just the right practice for starters. When you get to a bait shop you'll see all kinds of lures of all colors, shapes and sizes, you'll also notice the materials used which is more for function than for looks.
Hard Baits
These are made of hard material shaped molded and modern photo printed to resemble live bait fish. Hard baits can be a crank bait, floating lure, diving lure or top water poppers- the names suggest the weights and position in the water differ. The weight makes it stationery and stays on top or sink in the water.
Spinner Baits
Have also real-life look but these lures resemble swimming fish with rubber skirting and thread that “dance” in the water. The name spinner comes from the spinners this lure comes with. The logic of a Spinner bait is to cause disturbance at the surface of the water to make it appear to the bass that a “wounded” fish is just asking to be gulped down. This works all the time, the Bass just can't resist a free meal.
Soft Baits
Soft baits resemble all the soft baits we used to dig up or capture: fish, frogs, newts, salamanders and worms. These are by far the most cheap bait you can get and they can be bought in bulk or sets. Best for hook or jig for deep water fishing.
For any Fisherman junkie, lures of all kinds and colors are just like the bags of marbles boys keep, our tackle box just can't have enough of them.
Getting fit and close to mother nature has made hiking a popular hobby. Having your pet furry trail following beside you makes double the fun and excitement. That is IF you had prepared to share all the fun with your pet dog.
Keep safe and don't risk it if a trail has been rumored to have a Bear or Burmese Python sighting or Cougar. Seeing your pup or dog become snake-chow in front of you is not worth the risk. Just ask the Ex-pat who 'beat' up the big python that got her dog in its deadly embrace, dogs went missing on the very same trail weeks before.
Make sure your dog is highly sociable since the trail never runs out of other hikers seeking for the peace you sought after yourself. An unsociable dog makes a stressful hike with you having to be jumping out of your skin every time your pet barks. Besides a yapper pet disturbs the peace.
Be sensitive to your pet's disposition for hints of discomfort. A group of mountain bikers thought it cute that their Terrier kept pace uphill 10 minutes into the trek only to collapse in heat exhaustion- they forgot to let her have a drink and trek under shade.
If possible trek along any body of water-brook, stream, river, places with lush vegetation. The availability of water is vital for your pet- it would need to drink. You can have fun and wade or take a dip (make sure there are no crocodiles though) in with your pet.
Make sure to have a picnic pack stashed in your back-pack and some treats in your pocket. This is practical- like popcorn in a movie house, for survival- just in case you get lost and as insurance that your pet will keep close and not wander off (the treat smell can be scent it can track IF it does stray into the bush).
Taking your pets to a new place can be a great family experience as long as your dog doesn't get lost. Just last month, a retriever was found under an abandoned bus and will be returned to its family. The pet was lucky enough to have owners that made sure he was tagged and had a chip on him. Getting your pets I.D. Tags is basic since not everyone have those fancy chip readers, the tags should have the information that will lead any one who find your pet to you. Okay, so your pet dog has tags BUT your family moved and didn't update the address on it …that makes that piece of metal useless. Getting your pet dog chipped will cost you but the cost is nothing specially when your pet dog actually gets lost and then found through this invention. Many pets end up in animal shelters or rescues because they are not tagged properly or haven't been chipped, kinda makes you sad that most end up euthanized because their owners do not know where to find them. People who have pets or are planning to get wonderful dogs must be up to providing forever homes…you want your pet back when lost then get him those tags and micro-chip service. And lastly, never think it can never happen to you.
