Tips for new puppy owners Part 1
Puppies are 100% adorable, their extreme cuteness and vulnerable state appeals to us humans. As any puppy reaches the mark for the 3rd day after being brought home from the pet shop, he has learned how to wreak havoc in your home, hypnotize with his big eyes and wrap you around his little paw. As the time your pup grows into an adult dog, you find yourself wondering why you thought of buying a dog in the first place!
It is very likely that a spoiled pup and a clueless owner spell disaster. Puppies are small dogs that have come from a long line of animal instincts running through its veins. Most people would find themselves trying to orient their new puppy to human ways, often taking for granted the instincts every inch of the puppy has. Don't fret, there is a way to get over this hurdle of high expectations and misunderstanding.
Biting of puppies is a big concern for puppy owners. It is amazing how a little ball of fluff is armed with needle like teeth. Your pup does not bite to injure or cause harm, it is either teething or being playful. Need you be reminded that dogs talk in barks, whining, howling, swatting or pawing and biting. At the early stage of puppy life, the puppy learns how to control the force of his bite through the reaction of the other pups or dogs. When they know their bite hurts it will inhibit itself from biting with less force that can be interpreted by canines as playful.
No, people are not expected to literally act like a pack of dogs just to educate this young puppy. Understanding the inclination to bite is like a clue on how to take on training your pup not to.
